2013 American Catholic Press Benefit

Good News! The ACP annual benefit takes place Saturday evening, November 23, at the Flossmoor Country Club. This date was chosen by the Gratiam Dei Award honoree, the Honorable Dan Lipinski, Ph.D. A Democrat, he is the congressional representative for the Third District in Illinois, from the Midway Airport neighborhood to Beverly to Oak Lawn to Orland Park to Tinley Park. FermiLab is also within his district. Among his many assignments, one position is of special importance. Mr. Lipinski is co-chair of the pro-life caucus in the House.

The recipient of the Henry Hyde Award is Clarke Forsythe, senior counsel for Americans United for Life (AUL), of Washington, D.C. He was the president of AUL for ten years and is the author of numerous articles and books. Mr. Forsythe was commended to our ACP board by Kris and Dennis Cortes.
