Dr.
Noonan has founded numerous daycare centers and, most importantly, has
advanced the cause of Catholic education in a significant
way. The Noonan Academy is well attended, well staffed, and
well run. Other Catholic schools are closing, while this school is
growing and succeeding in its mission. Dr. Noonan is also the
recipient of the Diane Masters Award
for 2007. A reception in her honor begins at 6 p.m., with dinner
at 7. Afterwards, we welcome the renowned Madrigal Choir of Marian High School, under the direction of Michelle Coduti. (Michelle sings in the chorus of the Northwest Indiana Symphony.)
This Madrigal Choir is an elite group; each member is chosen by
audition only. The choir members wear distinctive medieval
garments and provide a wide variety of songs from several musical
periods, especially the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
